The RAED Center is an independent research institute based in Nouakchott. It works at the interface between West Africa and the Arab world — two regions that a thousand years of exchange have made inseparable, and that few institutions study together.
We produce verified analysis, comparable data and training. Our conviction is a simple one: states do not win their autonomy by naming what they want to be free of, but by building the capacity they will need.
